Pinterest Widgets WordPress Plugin

Pinterest Board widgetYou’ve already got the “Pin It” button where you need it throughout your site. But what about other Pinterest widgets?

If you need a Follow button, Pin widget, Profile widget and/or Board widget, we just released a free Pinterest Widgets plugin.

For now it simply gives you the options that Pinterest provides in their widget builder, but without you having to insert any HTML or script into your WordPress site.

After activating the plugin on your site, simply go to your Widgets area and drag over any of the 4 Pinterest widgets you need. A little configuration after that and you’re done!

This plugin also supports shortcodes for all 4 widgets if you prefer.

Download the Pinterest Widgets WordPress plugin now

Or search for “pinterest widgets” in your WordPress admin (instructions).

Note if you’re using our old Follow button plugin, it’s no longer being maintained and you’ll want to use the new Follow button widget included in this plugin.

As always, we’d love to know what you think of this plugin. Let us know in the comments.

If you find any bugs with it please submit on the plugin support forum.

    • I added a follow button yesterday although I haven’t had the chance to test it. I don’t know how to add a board button. I hadn’t thought about that!

    • You can use shortcodes to embed widgets anywhere inside any post or page. Refer to the shortcode help inside the plugin admin for examples.

    • Ronnie – I’ll respond to your post in the official plugin forums since I see you also posted there (which is a better spot anyway for community help).

  1. I can’t seem to get the widget to display the full width of the page. “board_width” attribute doesn’t seem to have any effect on the size of the widget. I’m working on URL: nickohler.com/pinterest

Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?

    Thank you!

  2. Still Works in WordPress 4.6.1–en. I haven’t checked it in posts but it works great in a custom sidebar widget. To view the Pinterest Widget, I added my post below. The whole amazon deal asus page is a test page for a lot of different stuff…. custom linking, custom youtube widget areas and the pinterest widget are all tested on this particular page. Even though the Pinterest Widget doesn’t show as “Compatible” with my 4.6.1-en version of WordPress, it seems to be working just fine.
