Plugin Installation: “Pin It” Button Pro

Pin It Button Lite to Pro (Upgrade Instructions)

Skip to the next section if you do not currently have Pin It Button Lite installed.

  1. Login to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the Pin It Button settings.
  3. If you’d like to keep your current settings, make sure Save Settings is checked, then click “Save Changes.”
  4. Navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
  5. Under Pinterest “Pin It” Button Lite, click Deactivate.
  6. Under Pinterest “Pin It” Button Lite, click Delete, then confirm once more.
  7. Proceed to install Pin It Button Pro (next section).

Pin It Button Pro Installation

  1. From your purchase email, click the download link and save the plugin zip file to your computer. *
  2. Login to your WordPress dashboard.
  3. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
  4. Click the Upload link near the top.
  5. Click “Choose File.”
  6. Browse and select the plugin zip file that you downloaded to your computer.
  7. Click “Install Now.”
  8. Click “Activate Plugin.”
  9. Enter your license key.

* Note for Safari users: If clicking a download link saves a folder to your hard drive instead of a zip file, try Control-click or right-click and select “Download Linked File”. Only zipped plugins are accepted when uploading to WordPress.

License Key Activation

In your plugin settings, make sure enter your license key and click “Save Changes” (on the Support tab for “Pin It” Button Pro).

With a valid license key you should get plugin update notifications. This is also used when contacting customer support.

Your plugin is now active and ready for you to setup.
